Gold Mining in DRC

The Democratic Republic of Congo is estimated to have $24 trillion (equivalent to the combined Gross Domestic Product of Europe and the United States) worth of untapped deposits of minerals. Much of the resource extraction is done in small operations known as "Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining" (ASM) which are unregulated in the DRC.

Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining

They are not officially employed by a mining company, but rather work independently, mining or planning for gold using their own resources. We work directly with both small and large scale miners from DR Congo and East Africa to help them deliver their gold to the market through negotiations with the prospective outstanding reliable buyers.

Gold Dore bars smelting

A Dore bar is a semi-pure alloy of gold, usually created at the site of a mine. We normally perform the smelting from gold nuggets into dore bars at the buyer's request and in his/her presence. Sample essaying is conducted at any government gold testing facility to determine the purity.
